Parvez’s Journey
Parvez Shah, a 19-year-old student-athlete, began his football journey at age 12 while studying in the 7th standard. Coming from amodest background, his family faced financial struggles, but support from Janvi Charitable Trust and the OSCAR Foundationenabled him to continue both education and football without interruption. This support helped him channel his passion anddetermination to rise through grassroots football ranks.
Academic Excellence and Balancing Priorities
Alongside football, Parvez is dedicated to academics, currentlypursuing a B.Sc. in Sports and Exercise Science at SomaiyaVidyavihar University. He has excelled academically whilerepresenting his university in national-level tournaments, balancinghis dual pursuits with determination and hard work.
Resilience and Future Goals
In July 2025, Parvez faced personal loss when his father passedaway unexpectedly, leaving his family with emotional andfinancial challenges. Through this difficult time, Janvi CharitableTrust provided crucial support and encouragement. Lookingahead, Parvez aspires to pursue a Master’s degree abroad inSports Science and contribute to Indian football, exploringscholarships and sponsorships to advance his education andcareer.
