Members present were 14,The last visit was to New Juniors Janakalyan School in Colin Street where we sponsored the white washing of the 3 class rooms.

Visit to Janakalyan Society
I visited the above school this morning. During the summer vacation we had given them Rs.4000/- to have the class rooms white washed as they were in bad shape – I found that the classes looked so bright and clean after the white washing has been done – the children too looked happy to see their classes looking bright and good.

It is with great pride that we can inform you that PARIVAAR has completed one glorious year today

Mita Di, Sharmila De with her daughter Disha and Bernie Mendonca with her daughter Samantha visited the school at 10 am on the 13th April.

This visit was planned to celebrate Bengal New Year with the old ladies and give them gifts and sweets.

We arrived at the school and were greeted with a loud good morning by the children and their teachers.

Our visit to Holy Family Convent, Liluah Was on the 12th dec. 2009. It had earlier been minuted that we would each one buy a dress for the children and give it to them for Christmas according to their favourite colour and dress.
