It was indeed a well spent afternoon for AESM Lucknow Office staff and wives who had organized an event on Sunday, 20 Jan 2019 interaction and spending quality time with the children of the local Govt Registered Orphanage for kids.
AESM Lucknow office staff and wives supported the noble cause and took an active part in this soulful event.
After spending some time with kids and caretaking staff & authorities ,following activities were organized:
- Address to kids by self ,office staff and one of the sailing staff ( on leave) regarding Merchant navy vessels and their importance in world trade.
- Motivation to study well specially girls and later taking Merchant Navy as a career option.
- Entertainment games for kids followed by prize distribution.
- Lunch and Pastries for all children.
- Distribution of Individual Gifts ( Bedcovers and Stationary)
All kids were extremely happy and enjoyed a lot through out the event .Overall a very satisfying experience for Team Lucknow: Our baby steps in bringing smiles to needy faces, to be surely continued with renewed vigour and more participation in future.We look forward for our continual association in helping this Orphanage in future.

On 25th July-2019, two of our Anavi members namely Mrs. Asha and Mrs. Gill had gone to Keshav Hospital on Shimla bypass road.
